Vintage Railway Lantern Converted into an LED Ember Night Light

This large metal railway lantern is more than 50 years old and originally operated with a candle. Its original paint has been preserved.

I installed LED glowing coals that simulate burning embers, added a built-in on/off switch, fitted rubber feet, and included an external 5V power adapter.
