Vintage GDR Railway Carriage Lantern Converted into a Neon Night Light

This original railway carriage candle lantern was made in East Germany around the middle of the 20th century.

I installed a neon bulb to turn the lantern into a warm decorative night light while preserving its authentic railroad character. The bulb uses an E12 base and is designed for 120V only.
