Handmade Wall-Mounted Lava Lamp from a Soviet Kerosene Sconce

I created this unusual wall lamp using a new Soviet kerosene wall fixture and a new lava-lamp insert with vivid red wax. The polished metal reflector enhances the warm moving glow.

A built-in dimmer controls heat and lava movement. The lamp can be prepared for either 110–120V or 220–240V with the correct socket and bulb, so no voltage transformer is required when the appropriate version is selected.
