Handmade Pendant Lamp from a Vintage Soviet Aluminum Colander

This one-of-a-kind ceiling light gives a second life to an authentic USSR kitchen colander. The perforated aluminum shade creates decorative light patterns while directing most illumination downward.

I fitted the vintage shade with a completely new suspension and electrical system, a standard E26/E27 socket, and an LED bulb for either 110V or 220V.
